Description
Download Template HERE. (current ver. 2.5)
The "wonderfetch' is a template for communicating and attaching metadata that will be attached to the item being scanned.
Please always use the latest wonderfetch version (shown above). Though older versions may still work, they will lack the latest functionality and improvements of the most current version.
Each Wonderfetch template contains three sheets: the template, the instructions, and the key. Please carefully read over instructions and key before filling out the template.
* Please keep updated with the LATEST and GREATEST Wonderfetch Templates here: http://www.archive.org/details/wonderfetch - Current version is 2.5
* Mode 1 - This uses the library's MARC records as the basis from which to load the book in one click. Additional meta data may be added to the record by the library with the Mode 1 form.
* Mode 2 - This mode also uses the library's MARC record in the same way as Mode 1, but will allow the title, author, subject, description, language, and publisher fields, if filled out, to overwrite the data in the MARC record.
* Mode 3 - If no MARC records are available, use Mode 3 to "Create Your Own" bibliographic record. Minimal or more detailed library data may be added.
* Mode 4 - This mode is to update records that have already been attached to an item. Consult IA before using this Mode.
